Application of Real-Time Electrocochleography to Cochlear Implantation
摘要
Abstract
Cochlear implantation(CI)is the most effective treatment for severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss.However,the trauma caused by electrode insertion during the procedure may affect the patient's residual hearing.Considering that early mild injuries might have a reversible period,real-time monitoring technologies for detecting such damage have been widely developed to optimize surgical outcomes and improve postoperative efficacy.In recent years,electrocochleography(ECochG)has emerged as a representative technique in this field and has shown promising results.Subsequently,real-time monitoring devices have been developed and introduced into clinical practice.This paper will provide an overview of the current application of this new technology.关键词
