Abstract
Based on the panel data of 11 coastal regions in China from 2013 to 2021,this paper studies the impact of marine environmental regulations on regional marine fishery competitiveness.The results show that marine environmental regulation can significantly improve the competitiveness of regional marine fisheries.It enhances regional marine fishery competitiveness by optimizing the fishery industrial structure and promoting marine pollution control but may reduce it by inhibiting marine technological innovation.Furthermore,both command-control and market-incentive environmental regulations can significantly boost the competitiveness of regional marine fisheries.Additionally,marine environmental regulation has a stronger impact on the competitiveness of marine fisheries in more developed coastal areas compared to less developed ones.关键词
