The Practical Significance,Theoretical Framework,and Development Pathways of Implementing the Bone Health Program within the Context of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Promotion Initiative

Abstract
The Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Promotion Initiative,drafted and issued under the leadership of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine,has designated bone health as a key priority area.This paper aims to systematically examine the contemporary significance of the bone health program within the context of this initia-tive,specifically:its inevitability in responding to national strategic imperatives,its urgency in addressing public health challenges,and its pioneering role in transforming healthcare service models.Furthermore,this study provides an in-depth exposition of the program's theoretical underpinnings,which are centered on the core concept of"life-course management"and structured around the traditional Chinese medicine framework of"sinew-vessel-muscle-bone-marrow".Finally,draw-ing upon top-level national strategic design and current implementation gaps,this paper proposes key pathways for the fu-ture implementation of the bone health program across four dimensions:system development,capacity building,technolog-ical empowerment,and multi-stakeholder governance.The aim is to provide academic support and policy recommen-dations for advancing the unique role of traditional Chinese medicine in safeguarding bone health for the entire popula-tion.关键词
