Abstract

Conducting typhoon disaster resilience assessments in open spaces is crucial for enhancing the cli-mate adaptability of cities.Most existing research focus on the static assessment of physical facilities in open spaces,with relatively few dynamic analyses of the actual usage behaviors of the population,making it difficult to accurately reflect their true recovery status.By taking Fuzhou urban area under Typhoon Doksuri in 2023 as the research object and based on human visitation data,an evaluation method is established for the recovery resil-ience of open spaces,and a comparative analysis is conducted on the changes in visit volume and differences in recovery characteristics of three types of open spaces(squares,parks,and scenic areas)before and after the disas-ter,and the key influencing factors are identified.The findings indicate:①All three open spaces types exhibit a"V"-shaped response pattern,but with distinct recovery characteristics:squares show rapid recovery with signifi-cant fluctuations,parks demonstrate steady recovery trends,and scenic areas feature slow and limited recovery.②Wind force,water accumulation and road network density are the main driving factors,while the negative im-pact of night lights reveals that the decline of regional vitality restricts its recovery.
