长江上游典型森林生态系统可燃物空间分布特征及火灾风险评估
Characteristics of Spatial Distribution of Combustibles in Typical Forest Ecosystems in the Upper Yangtze River and Fire Risk Assessment:A Case Study of Pingwu County,Sichuan Province

Abstract
The forest ecosystem in the upper Yangtze River region plays a vital role in ecological stability,making forest fire prevention essential for sustainable resource management and the success of the"Natural For-est Protection Project."Using Pingwu County as a representative area,an index system is developed for assess-ing forest fire danger based on field surveys,the spatial distribution of forest stands and fuels across elevation zones is analyzed and the associated fire risks are assessed.Results show that elevation positively correlates with fuel loads,while slope shows a negative relationship.Forest stand characteristics contribute most significantly to canopy fuel loads.Fire risk assessments reveal that summer poses the highest risk,particularly in low-and mid-elevation areas.These findings underscore the spatial heterogeneity of forest fuels and fire risks along elevation gradients,providing scientific insights to inform forest fire prevention and management in the region.关键词
