健脾调肝针刺联合八字取穴法透刺治疗周围性面瘫的临床研究
Clinical Study on Spleen-Strengthening and Liver-Regulating Acupuncture Combined with Eight-Character Acupoints Penetrating Needling in Treatment of Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Spleen-strengthening and Liver-regulating acupuncture combined with eight-character acupoints penetrating needling in treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.Methods:A total of 120 patients with peripheral facial paralysis were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group.The control group was treated with eight-character acupoints penetrating needling;on which basis,the observation group was also treated with Spleen-strengthening and Liver-regulating acupuncture.Before and after the treatment,facial muscle motor function was evaluated using the House-Brackmann(H-B)facial nerve grading system;facial muscle function and quality of life were assessed using the Facial Disability Index(FDI);disease severity was evaluated based on TCM symptom scores;the symptom relief time and overall clinical efficacy were also compared between the two groups.Results:There was no statistical difference in H-B grading between the two groups before the treatment(P＞0.05);the improvements in H-B grades after the treatment were more significant in the observation group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The FDI physical function(FDIP)scores increased significantly in both groups after the treatment,with the observation group showing a more pronounced improvement(P＜0.05).The FDI social function(FDIS)scores decreased in both groups after the treatment,with a greater reduction observed in the observation group(P＜0.05).After the treatment,both groups showed significant decreases in TCM symptom scores,and the improvements in facial function and quality of life were observed;however,these improvements were more marked in the observation group(P＜0.05).The time of symptom relief in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate was 93.33％(56/60)in the observation group,which was significantly higher than 72.88％(43/59)in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The eight-character acupoints penetrating needling method combined with Spleen-strengthening and Liver-regulating acupuncture can effectively improve facial muscle function and quality of life in patients with peripheral facial paralysis,thereby enhancing clinical efficacy.关键词
