Research on the Integration Design of Traditional Chinese Patterns and Sports Shoes

Abstract
This study examines how traditional Chinese patterns―categorized as auspicious,natural,and geometric motifs―merge with sports shoe design amid China's surging"Guochao"cultural movement.By analyzing these patterns'visual characteristics and cultural meanings,we propose a form-meaning integrity approach for translating motifs through graphic,color,and material elements.Case studies of Li-Ning's Forbidden City collaboration and Nike's Year of the Snake collection demonstrate how abstracted recomposition and modular redesign of traditional patterns enhance cultural resonance and reinforce identity.The findings offer actionable insights for revitalizing cultural heritage through contemporary design.关键词
