On the Elite Aesthetics of Baroque European Portrait Paintings from Luxurious Jewelry and Its Influence on Contemporary Jewelry Design

Abstract
This study focuses on jewelry in Baroque European portraits to explore elite aesthetics and their impact on contemporary jewelry design.By analyzing Baroque court art,jewelry styles,and craftsmanship,it reveals the upper class's pursuit of luxury.Case studies of masterpieces show jewelry functioned as religious symbols,status emblems,and moral metaphors.The research finds Baroque jewelry's use of irregular pearls,diamond techniques,religious elements,and reliefs were captured in portraits.Its maximalist style and material aesthetics inspire contemporary design,fostering innovative integration of historical and modern aesthetics.关键词
