Artificial Intelligence Empowering Curriculum Reform in Engineering Education:Logical Origins,Dimensional Reconstruction and Practical Pathways

Abstract
The rapid development of artificial intelligence is profoundly reshaping the generation mechanism of engineering knowledge,the organization modes of engineering practice,and the structural logic of engineering competencies.The emergence of AI-empowered curriculum reform is not merely a simple extension of external technological conditions;rather,it constitutes a systemic logical outcome driven by national strategic demands,the inherent laws of technological evolution,the internal predicaments of engineering education,and the paradigm shift towards"Emerging Engineering Education".Curriculum reform in engineering education for the new era exhibits a trend of multi-dimensional reconstruction:curriculum objectives are shifting from job-specific suitability to life-long development orientation;curriculum contents is evolving from being closed and stable to dynamic and cutting-edge;practical teaching is moving from limited real-world scenarios to the integration of virtual and real environments;and curriculum evaluation is changing from lagging outcome-based assessment to real-time process-oriented analysis.To enhance the overall quality of independent cultivation of engineering talents,AI-empowered curriculum reform trends include:concretizing objectives to establish a curriculum system aimed at cultivating outstanding engineers;intelligently updating contents to construct a frontier and systematic knowledge structure;integrating methods to form diverse and precise intelligent learning support mechanisms;contextualizing practice to build simulation platforms for complex engineering problems;datafying evaluation to enable comprehensive analysis of learning behaviors throughout the entire process.关键词
