Discussion on Theoretical Origin and Multidimensional Mechanisms of Jianpi Qushi Heluo Formula in Treating Idiopathic Membranous Nephropathy from the Perspective of Spleen Theory

摘要

Abstract

Idiopathic membranous nephropathy(IMN)is one of the common pathological types of primary glomerulopathy.Since the"root deficiency and branch excess"as its core pathogenesis,the syndrome characteristics of IMN with spleen deficiency and damp-heat are similar to the core pathogenesis of"Yin Fire".Combining theories such as"Edema Disease","Yin Fire Theory",and"Nephritic Edema",professor YU Renhuan,based on academic viewpoint of treating kidney diseases from the spleen theory,has created the Jianpi Qushi Heluo Formula for treating IMN,which has shown good efficacy and safety.In this essay,the author attempts to analyse theoretical origin and multidimensional mechanisms of Jianpi Qushi Heluo Formula in treating idiopathic membranous nephropathy from the perspective of spleen theory.It is found that the concept of the spleen in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)involves multiple systems including digestion,immune function,endocrine regulation,metabolism and many systems.Through many ways such as the the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and pyroptosis,Jianpi Qushi Heluo Formula plays the therapeutic role in the IMN from the perspectives of immune regulation,intestinal flora regulation,improvement of autophagy and mitophagy,and NLRP3 inflammasome.
