复方枸杞熏蒸制剂超声雾化治疗轻中度睑板腺功能障碍型干眼肝肾阴虚证的临床观察
Clinical Observation on the Efficacy of Ultrasonic Nebulization Therapy with Compound Lycium Scorzonera Steam Inhalation Preparation for Mild to Moderate Meibomian Gland Dysfunction-Type Dry Eye Syndrome with Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency Pattern

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of ultrasonic nebulization with Compound Lycium Scorzonera Steam Inhalation Preparation in the treatment of mild to moderate meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD)-type dry eye syndrome with liver-kidney yin deficiency pattern.Methods Patients of mild to moderate MGD-type dry eye syndrome with liver-kidney yin deficiency pattern who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a TCM group using a random number table,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received meibomian gland massage and 0.3%sodium hyaluronate eye drops,in addition to nebulization therapy with physiological saline.The TCM group received the same base regimen but with the physiological saline nebulization replaced by ultrasonic inhalation of the Compound Lycium Scorzonera Steam Inhalation Preparation.Each nebulization session lasted 20 minutes,administered twice per week for a total treatment duration of 4 weeks for both groups.Changes in breakup time of tear film(BUT),fluorescein(FL)staining scores,pH values of tear,meibomian gland orifice and secretion scores,Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)scores,and TCM syndrome scores were observed before and after treatment,and the clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups.Results The total clinical effective rate of the TCM group was 95%(38/40),which was significantly higher than 67.5%(27/40)of the control group(P<0.01).Compared with before treatment,after treatment in the TCM group,BUT was prolonged,while tear pH values,FL scores,OSDI scores,meibomian gland orifice and secretion scores,and TCM syndrome scores were all decreased.In the control group,after treatment,BUT was prolonged,while tear pH values,FL scores,OSDI scores,and meibomian gland orifice scores were decreased(P<0.01).Moreover,the improvement of all indicators in the TCM group after treatment was superior to that in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Ultrasonic nebulization with Compound Lycium Scorzonera Steam Inhalation Preparation combined with eyelid massage can improve the therapeutic effect in patients of mild to moderate MGD-type dry eye syndrome with liver-kidney yin deficiency pattern,enhance meibomian gland function,reduce inflammatory response,and stabilize the ocular surface microenvironment.关键词
