摘要

Abstract

Taking three tillering onion varieties with distinct bolting resistance(bolting-resistant M06,neutral M09,and bolting-prone M18)as experimental materials,this study employed a combined approach of physiological and biochemical parameter measurements with real-time quantitative PCR analysis,systematically investigated the dynamic changes in antioxidant enzyme activity,nutrient content,endogenous hormone levels,and expression of the flowering-related gene AcADLFY at different developmental stages(pre-bolting,bolting,post-bolting),in order to provide references for elucidating the bolting mechanism in tillering onions and breeding bolt-resistant varieties.The results showed that in the bolting-prone variety M18,superoxide dismutase(SOD)and peroxidase(POD)activities were significantly higher than in non-bolting plants throughout the bolting process,and its soluble sugar content increased significantly more than in the bolting-resistant variety M06 and neutral variety M09.Prior to bolting,soluble protein content exhibited a gradual increase trend across all three varieties.Regarding hormone levels,gibberellic acid(GA3)content in tillering onion leaves decreased progressively with development,reaching its lowest point during the bolting stage before slowly recovering post-bolting.Auxin(IAA)and abscisic acid(ABA)levels,however,gradually increased before bolting,both peaking during the bolting stage before slowly decreasing in the post-bolting phase.Molecular biological analysis revealed that the flowering-related gene AcADLFY was predominantly highly expressed in the post-bolting stage.This study confirms that the aforementioned physiological indicators and gene expression patterns can serve as effective comprehensive indicators for evaluating the bolting resistance of tillering onion.
