张燕平基于宣通鼻窍法治疗急性鼻窦炎的经验
ZHANG Yanping's Experience in Treating Acute Sinusitis Based on the Method of Diffu-sing and Unblocking the Nasal Orifices

Abstract
Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that acute sinusitis is often caused by wind-heat toxic pathogens that attack the exterior and invade the lung.The accumulation of pathogenic heat in the lung impairs its diffusion and descent functions,leading to the upward attack of toxic pathogens on the nasal sinuses.Alterna-tively,it may result from pathogenic heat invading the gallbladder,where excessive heat in the gallbladder me-ridian rises to the brain,forcing fluid downward and leading to symptoms.Additionally,overindulgence in greasy or sweet foods can generate internal damp-heat,which stagnates and obstructs the spleen and stomach.This disrupts the functions of transportation and transformation,causing clear yang to fail to rise and turbid yin to fail to descend,allowing damp-heat toxic pathogens to ascend along the meridians and steam into the sinu-ses,thereby inducing the disease.Clinically,it is often manifested as nasal congestion,thick nasal discharge,accompanied by distending pain in the head and face.The treatment focuses on dispersing wind and clearing heat,purging gallbladder heat,clearing heat and promoting diuresis,as well as unblocking the nasal orifices.In treating acute sinusitis,ZHANG Yanping frequently employs herbs that have the effect of diffusing and unblock-ing the nasal orifices.This approach integrates visceral differentiation with external therapies,combining internal and external treatment,regulating multiple organs simultaneously,and prescribing tailored formulas for individ-ual patients,all of which yield favorable therapeutic outcomes.关键词
