Effect of Annealing Process on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Dual-Phase Steel DP980

Abstract
This study systematically investigated the effects of adjusting cold rolling and annealing process parameters(soaking temperature,rapid cooling temperature,and strip speed)on the microstructure and mechanical properties of dual-phase steel DP980.The results show that as the soaking temperature increased from 800 ℃ to 850 ℃,the austenitization process was enhanced,and the accelerated carbon diffusion rate led to an increase in martensite content with a more dispersed distribution,thereby improving the tensile strength to 1100 MPa.However,the elongation decreased to 7.76%due to increased dislocation density.When the rapid cooling temperature rose from 300 ℃ to 450 ℃,the tensile strength decreased from 1100 MPa to 850 MPa,while the elongation increased from 7.8%to 18.89%,accompanied by bainitic transformation at 450℃.Increasing the strip speed shortened the annealing time,suppressed ferrite grain coarsening,optimized the ferrite-to-martensite ratio,and significantly enhanced the comprehensive mechanical properties.This research provides a theoretical basis for formulating industrial mass production process strategies for dual-phase steel DP980.关键词
