Applications of Nanoparticles in the Research and Development of Toxoplasma Gondii Vaccines
摘要
Abstract
Toxoplasmosis is a widely spread zoonotic disease,and has posed a serious threat to global public health security.Due to the complex life cycle and immune evasion mechanisms of Toxoplasma gondii,no human vaccines have been approved for market use.Nanoparticle technology,with its advantages in enhancing immune specificity,prolonging antigen circulation time,stimulating immune responses,and protecting antigens from degradation,demonstrates significant potential in vaccine formulations.In particular,it holds promising prospect for application in the development of Toxoplasma gondii vaccine.This article reviews the latest progress in the application of nanoparticles for Toxoplasma gondii vaccine development,aiming to provide references for further research and the development of an effective human vaccine against toxoplasmosis.关键词
