Parametric form design for a large ocean tourism platform
摘要
Abstract
Form design combines designers'creative inspiration and subjective judgment.This paper discusses how to apply parametric design based on rigorous logic to form design.The proposed approach integrates subjective crea-tivity with the generative design strategy.Specifically,designers first generated form concepts based on their crea-tive insights.Subsequently,the intrinsic mechanisms underlying these forms were analyzed and abstracted into mathematical models,which were then translated into geometric models using parametric design tools.This method was applied to the form design of a large-scale ocean tourism composite platform,resulting in a design solution with both excellent form and superior wind resistance performance.The parametric design methodology presented in this paper effectively bridges creative inspiration with digital design technologies,demonstrating both efficiency and ef-fectiveness in design.关键词
