Current Status of Annona(Annona squamo-sa)Industry in Guangxi and Strategies for Its High-Quality Development during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period

Abstract
Annona squamosa L.holds a significant position in Guangxi's characteristic fruit in-dustry.This study systematically analyzed the current development status of the A.squamosa indus-try in Guangxi,identified the key constraints to its high-quality development,and aimed to provide a theoretical basis and policy recommendations for scientifically formulating the industry during the 15th Five-Year Plan period,facilitating its transition from scale expansion to quality and efficiency improvement.Combining field research,data collection,literature review,and systematic analy-sis,this study outlined the development characteristics and prominent issues of the A.squamosa in-dustry in Guangxi and proposed targeted development strategies and key pathways for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.A.squamosa plays a crucial role in enriching the variety structure,regulating mar-ket supply,increasing output value,and promoting county-level economic development in Guangxi's characteristic fruit sector.The industry ranks the first in scale nationwide.However,chal-lenges persist,including weak disaster resilience,limited cultivar diversity,underdeveloped stan-dard system,and insufficient technological innovation.The 15th Five-Year Plan period represents a critical phase for the transition of Guangxi's fruit industry from scale expansion to quality and effi-ciency.To advance the high-quality development of the A.squamosa industry and align with the mis-sion of building Guangxi's characteristic fruit industry innovation team,the study proposed the path-way of focusing on technological innovation and key technical breakthroughs for improving the an-nona industry.Based on technological innovation and adhering to the principle of"suitable crops for suitable land"to optimize the regional layout,the industry could be systematically enhanced through the key pathways including establishing a risk response system,introducing and breeding superior cultivars,developing and integrating efficient cultivation techniques,improving the whole-industry-chain standard system,and strengthening brand building.These countermeasures would promote the industrial structure optimization,transformation of production methods,and upgrading of the industry chain,thereby bolstering the core competitiveness and sustainable development ca-pacity of Guangxi's A.squamosa industry.This study provided a reference for high-quality develop-ment of the characteristic fruit industry in Guangxi.关键词
