Abstract

To address the noise pollution issue in 500 kV terminal substations,five operating 500 kV terminal substations in Guangdong province are selected as the research subjects to systematically study the noise characteristics of multiple sets of core equipment,including main transformers and high-voltage reactors through on-site measurements.The test data reveals that the main transformers and high-voltage reactors,as the primary noise sources in the substations,exhibit noise energy concentrated in the low-frequency range of 100~500 Hz.Notably,typical peak characteristics are observed at frequencies of 100 Hz and 200 Hz,aligning with the frequency doubling characteristics resulting from core magnetostriction and electromagnetic force excitation of windings.In view of the aforementioned low-frequency noise characteristics,this paper uses a control method based on the acoustic metamaterials and the finite element method to construct the acoustic model and optimally designs a composite layered metamaterial structure.Numerical simulation results indicate that the theoretical sound absorption coefficients of this structure at target frequencies of 100 Hz and 200 Hz reach 0.88 and 0.91 respectively,representing a significant improvement compared to traditional sound absorption materials(the acoustic absorptivity coefficient is less than 0.4).
