Abstract
This paper systematically analyzes the complex mechanisms of sulfate attack on concrete and its macro-micro damage processes,summarizes effective protective measures,which provides a theoretical basis and technical reference for enhancing the long-term durability and engineering safety of concrete structures in harsh environments.Through a literature review,the chemical reaction mechanisms and performance evolution patterns of sulfate attack are examined.Technical approaches to improve sulfate resistance are systematically summarized from four aspects:concrete mix design,cement,mineral admixtures and chemical admixtures.The application and comparative analysis of these strategies are validated using engineering case studies from Zhala Hydropower Station in Xizang and Xiate Hydropower Station in Xinjiang.The results show that by reducing the water-binder ratio,selecting low-C3A cement,adding appropriate amounts of mineral admixtures(such as fly ash,slag or silica fume),and using water reducing agent and air-entraining agents,the compactness and microstructure of concrete can be significantly improved,and the resistance to sulfate attack can be effectively improved.The engineering cases show that the scheme of"ordinary Portland cement+high-volume fly ash"not only meets the design requirements for sulfate resistance but also offers good technical and economic benefits.Systematic protection strategy should be adopted to resist sulfate attack of concrete.In practical engineering,based on the level of environmental erosion and material characteristics,the mix design,cementitious material system and admixture usage should be holistically optimized to achieve the best balance between structural durability and economic efficiency.关键词
