Abstract
In response to the current situation in China where a large number of built water conservancy and hydropower projects lack traditional fish passage facilities, the authors investigate the fish collection and transportation system as an ecological compensation measure.Through literature review and field investigations, this study systematically analyzes the operational principles and classification methods of fish collection and transportation systems, reviews their development history both domestically and internationally, and focuses on analyzing the engineering design characteristics and typical project examples of the three core components:fish collection, transportation, and release.Research indicates that fixed and mobile systems each have distinct characteristics and applicable conditions;Engineering practices both in China and abroad have accumulated extensive experience in aspects like fish collection platforms, fish collection boats, fish transport vehicles, and release facilities. However, these practices also reveal ongoing challenges, including the attraction efficiency for bottom-dwelling fish, interference from noise and vibration, equipment cost-effectiveness,and ensuring survival rates during transport.Fish collection and transportation systems can serve as an important supplement to traditional fish passage facilities, particularly suitable for complex scenarios like high dams and large reservoirs. The findings of this study can provide references for the optimized design and engineering application of future systems.关键词
