Effects of Manure Replacing Chemical Fertilizer Nitrogen on the Yield and Quality of Tea and the Nutrient Content of Soil

Abstract
To explore the effects of manure replacing chemical fertilizer nitrogen on the yield and quality of tea and the nutrient content of soil,a field experiment was carried out in Taoyuan County,Hunan Province.Five treatments—no fertilization(CK),conventional fertilization(T1),optimized chemical fertilization(T2),insect manure replacing 15%chemical fertilizer nitrogen(T3),and insect manure replacing 30%chemical fertilizer nitrogen(T4)—were designed.The results indicated that insect manure replacing chemical fertilizer nitrogen significantly enhanced the yield of tea.T3 and T4 showed the tea yields of 6 460.12 kg/hm2 and 6 772.94 kg/hm2,which represented increases of 18.08%and 23.62%,respectively,compared with that of T1(P<0.05).In addition,compared with T1,T3 and T4 showed significantly increased content of free amino acids,increased content of water extract,tea polyphenols,catechins,and gallic acid,and decreased ratios of tea polyphenols to amino acids.T3 and T4 showed increases of 4.64%and 8.33%in tea nitrogen content and 12.83%and 10.47%in tea phosphorus content,respectively,compared with T1.Moreover,T3 and T4 showed significantly increased soil pH and increased total phosphorus,alleviating soil acidification and improving soil fertility.In summary,replacing chemical fertilizer nitrogen with insect manure is conducive to improving the yield and quality of tea and the soil of tea garden,with T4 demonstrating the best performance.关键词
