Exploring the pathogenesis and treatment of unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion based on the theory of"yang transforming qi,yin shaping up the body"

Abstract
Recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA),known as"habitual abortion"in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),is fundamentally attributed to the imbalance of yin and yang.Deficient yang qi fails to warm and sustain the fetus,while insufficient yin and blood lead to inadequate uterine moistening and nourishment.Conversely,excessive yang and heat disrupt fetal primordial qi,and phlegm and blood stasis obstruct the uterine collaterals.This theoretical framework systematically aligns the core TCM pathological patterns-yang qi exhaustion,yin and blood deficiency,yang and heat excess,and phlegm-blood stasis stagnation-with the modern reproductive biomarkers.Clinically,this study proposes that its treatment revolve around classical TCM formulas,embodying the tenet of"Yin grows while yang is generating"in the Inner Canon of Huangdi,while being substantiated through the contemporary mechanisms such as Th1/Th2 immune balance and trophoblast invasion.Thus,this paper is aimed at offering a comprehensive TCM RSA management system,integrating the theories,methods,prescriptions,and medication of Chinese medicine,highlighting the theoretical value of"yin-yang harmony"in traditional Chinese medicine.关键词
