Abstract
Based on the existing pump device of the Shaji Pumping Station,a three dimensional numerical model was established using CFD software to simulate the full flow channel flow of the pump device under different operating conditions.A systematic analysis was conducted on the impacts of different water level combinations,pump blade angles,impeller center elevations,and top surface upturn angles on the performance of the pump device.The results show that cavitation mainly occurs in the inlet area on the suction side of the blades and the circumferential area at the outer edges of the blades,and obvious cavitation still exists when the downstream water level is 13.5 m.Adjusting the blade angle to-4°can significantly suppress cavitation while the flow rate basically meets the requirements,so it is recommended to operate the pump at a blade angle of-4°.A slight reduction in the impeller center elevation does not inhibit the scope of cavitation;on the contrary,it leads to a decrease in the device efficiency.The influence of the upturn angle of the inlet flow channel is relatively small.Considering the construction cost and renovation effect comprehensively,it is not recommended to adjust the top surface of the inlet flow channel.This study can provide certain reference and guidance for similar projects.关键词
