摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the associations of osteopontin(OPN),E-selectin,and angiotensinⅡ(Ang-Ⅱ)with intracranial aneurysms(IA)and their potential value for instability assessment within high-resolution vessel wall imaging(HR-VWI)framework.Methods In this retrospective case-control study,47 patients with IA and 40 healthy controls were included.IA cases were further stratified by HR-VWI mural enhancement into unstable group(marked wall enhancement)and stable group(no wall enhancement).After an overnight fast,morning venous blood was collected,and plasma OPN,E-selectin,and Ang-Ⅱ levels were measured by ELISA,and the biomarker levels were compared between the IA group and the control group,as well as between the unstable group and the stable group.Results Compared with the control group,the IA group showed higher OPN levels(t=2.65,P=0.009),while E-selectin and Ang-Ⅱ did not differ significantly(P>0.05).Within the IA cohort,none of the three biomarkers differed significantly between the unstable group and the stable group(P>0.05).Conclusion OPN is elevated in IA and is associated with IA occurrence.In this sample,OPN,E-selectin,and Ang-Ⅱ showed limited independent discriminative value for assessing aneurysm instability.Larger cohorts with longitudinal follow-up are warranted.
