心率变异性在男性酒精依赖复发风险评估中的作用
Role of heart rate variability in assessing the risk of relapse in male alcohol dependence

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the risk factors for relapse in male alcohol-dependent patients,with a particu-lar focus on the relationship between heart rate variability(HRV)and the risk of relapse within 6 months after hospi-tal discharge.Methods:The study subjects were 150 male alcohol-dependent patients who were hospitalized for pharmacological detoxification treatment between June 2019 and June 2023 and did not relapse within 6 months after discharge.Another 150 male alcohol-dependent patients who relapsed within 6 months after discharge were matched by age.Socio—demographic data and drinking characteristics of the patients were collected,and their HRV indices at discharge,including the standard deviation of normal-to—normal intervals(SDNN),total power(TP),low-fre-quency power(LF),high-frequency power(HF),and the LF/HF ratio,were measured.The variables were com-pared using difference analysis,and binary logistic regression analysis was employed to identify the factors affecting the risk of relapse in alcohol-dependent patients.Results:Both the non-relapsed group and the relapsed group in-cluded 150 patients each.No significant differences were observed between two groups in terms of age,smoking rate,education level,family history of alcohol dependence,and family history of mental illness(P＞0.05).However,the non-relapsed group had a higher employment rate and a later age of first alcohol use(t/x2=26.46,3.81;P＜0.001),and they had lower daily alcohol consumption,fewer hospitalizations,and lower anxiety and depression scores(t=-6.34,-5.81,-3.97,-4.68;P＜0.001).Logistic regression analysis revealed that low TP values(OR=0.04,P＜0.001),low LF values!OR=0.26,P＜0.001),low HF values(OR=0.02,P＜0.001),and a higher LF/HFratio(OR=6.77,P＜0.001)were all associated with a higher risk of relapse,suggesting that a weakened autonomic nervous system function may increase the risk of relapse.Conclusion:Alcohol-dependent patients with lower HRV values are at higher risk of relapse.Greater attention and early intervention are recommended for these patients to prevent re-lapse.关键词
