摘要

Abstract

The use of fluoropolymer coating aluminum powder can significantly improve the combus-tion performance of aluminum powder.However,fluoropolymers have the problem of uneven coat-ing.In this paper,the evaporative recrystallization method and solvent/non-solvent method were used to coat the surface of nano-aluminum(nAl)particles with PVDF,and their ignition and combustion properties were studied.Scanning electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy were used to characterize the enveloping structure and combustion products.It was found that the effect of solvent/non-solvent method of nAl coating was better than that of evaporation recrystallization meth-od,and the surface of nAl was coated with PVDF filamentous fibers.Optical sensors and high-speed cameras were used to detect the flame propagation and combustion performance of different samples in the air,and it was found that the solvent-non-solvent coating method had better combustion effect when the PVDF concentration was above 16%,and the ignition delay time was shortened.This study provides a reference for the subsequent improvement of the combustion performance of fluoropolymer-coated modified Al powder.
