Abstract
In order to deeply study the characteristics of the molten pool in the aluminum alloy CMT additive manufacturing process,numerical simulation of the additive manufacturing process is carried out by FLUENT software to study the changing rules of the temperature field and flow field of the molten pool and the influencing factors in the additive process.The simulation results show that the morphology and flow characteristics of the molten pool are affected by factors such as heat source movement and arc pressure.In the process of additive manufacturing,due to the role of heat source movement and arc pressure,the melt pool shows a wedge shape with a high front and a low back,which is due to the higher temperature in the area heated by the heat source and the lower temperature in the area far away from the heat source,resulting in the expansion of the front of the melt pool and the contraction of the back end.With the cooling of the melt pool,the height of the molded part gradually decreases,showing a more obvious thermal contraction phenomenon;On the surface of the melt pool due to thermal convection and surface tension,the velocity is high;In the interior of the melt pool,due to the existence of a temperature gradient,the velocity in the rear is larger than that in the front,and vortexes are generated;after preheating the substrate,it is found that,with the rise of the preheating temperature,the melt pool size gradually becomes larger,but the size of the molded part is larger.The size of the molten pool gradually becomes larger,but the height of the molded part gradually decreases.关键词
