Progress in screening nasopharyngeal carcinoma
摘要
Abstract
Nasopharyngeal carcinoma's occult anatomical location and a lack of specific symptoms in early stages,implementing effective early screening strategies remains crucial for improving a patient's overall sur-vival and quality of life.Although Epstein-Barr virus-based serological testing has been widely implemented in endemic regions of China,its clinical utility is currently constrained by a suboptimal positive predictive value and specificity.With recent breakthroughs in high-throughput molecular biology and artificial intelli-gence,nasopharyngeal carcinoma screening paradigms are undergoing a shift from single-modality serologi-cal indicators toward multi-omics,multi-modal and precision-based approaches.This review systematically summarized the technical evolution of novel biomarkers represented by P85-Ab,multi-dimensional risk mod-els and AI-aided diagnosis in the early identification of nasopharyngeal carcinoma,optimization of popula-tion risk stratification and clinical decision-making.Furthermore,by integrating health economic evaluations of different screening pathways,this article provided scientific evidence and strategic support for constructing a hierarchical,cost-effective and precise screening architecture.关键词
