Abstract
Historic blocks has witnessed the historical development of the city during its urbanization process.These cultural values are crucial for continuing historical legacies and shaping distinctive urban identities.Based on field investigations,this paper takes cultural value as the starting point to explore strategies for the protection and adaptive reuse of urban blocks.It further discusses how to translate the value system into practical implementation pathways,clarifying the unique development direction of each block.Using the West Block of Luzhai in Dongyang as a case study,this paper comprehensively examines the guiding role of cultural value throughout various stages of design,emphasizing the integration of conservation and adaptive reuse,and the harmony between tradition and modernity.This approach promotes not only the preservation but also the sustainable vitality of cultural heritage in urban environments.关键词
