Abstract

Carbon footprint of Chinese beer products was analyzed using China Resources Snow Beer(abbr.CR Snow)8° 500 mL glass bottle beer as an example.Based on ISO 14067 and GB/T 24067-2024"Requirements and Guidelines for Quantifying Carbon Footprint of Greenhouse Gas Products",its average life cycle carbon footprint was calculated.By analyzing key parameters sensitivities,three levels of carbon reduction pathways were proposed including internal enterprise,supply chain collaboration,and indirect strategies.Measures such as optimizing recycling system,increasing proportion of green electricity,reducing raw material and energy consumption,and promoting low-carbon production could effectively reduce carbon footprint.A theoretical basis for green and low-car-bon development in beer industry was provided,which would help achieve green and low-carbon transformation and enhance international competitiveness.
