Abstract

The canned motor pump is a key equipment in the nuclear reactor system.Due to the lack of effective fault detection means,the fault is often only known when the equipment can no longer operate,which seriously threatens the safe operation of the nuclear reactor.Aiming at the canned motor pump of the nuclear reactor,this paper first analyzes the structural characteristics and working principle of the canned motor pump.On this basis,the typical fault modes of the canned motor pump are analyzed,and the method of using vibration sensors for fault detection of the canned motor pump is determined.The arrangement of vibration measuring points and the indicators of vibration sensors are also analyzed and determined.Based on the vibration detection method,the overall structural design,signal preprocessing and acquisition design,and fault feature extraction method design of the fault detector are carried out,and a fault detector for canned motor pumps of nuclear reactors is developed.Finally,the test and verification are carried out through the typical fault simulation test of the canned motor pump.The detection results show that the developed fault detector for canned motor pumps of nuclear reactors can effectively detect and identify the typical faults of canned motor pumps.
