摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate and analyze short-term efficacy of laparoscopic total gastrectomy utilizing purse string forceps and multifunctional sealing caps. Methods Data were collected from 87 gastric cancer patients who underwent total gastrectomy via laparoscopy between January 2023 and March 2024.Roux-en-Y anastomosis was performed using a tubular stapler.Patients were divided into an experimental group(n=45)and a control group(n=42)based on the purse string closure tech-nique used for the esophageal stump and whether a sealing cap was employed. We compared relevant indicators before, during, and after surgery. Results All 87 patients successfully completed the laparoscopic surgery.Experimental group exhibited significantly shorter intraoperative esophageal fixation time, esophagojejunal anastomosis time, total surgical time, incision length, and total hospi-tal stay compared to those in the control group(P<0.05).Postoperatively,the total white blood cell count, neutrophil percentage, ventilation time, and overall complications were notably reduced in the experimental group compared to those in the control group during the 1~3 days follow-up period(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic radical total gastrectomy, utilizing purse string for-ceps and multifunctional sealing caps, along with a tubular stapler for gastrointestinal reconstruction,is both safe and efficient. The purse string closure of the esophageal stump is straightforward, and the esophageal segment tube stapler allows for quick fixation to the nail seat.Additionally, employing a multifunctional sealing cover simplifies the process of inserting the stapler and purse string forceps into the abdominal cavity, ensuring adequate pneumoperitoneum pressure. This provides a novel approach for digestive tract reconstruction following total gastrectomy under full endoscopy.关键词
