Abstract
Objective To analyze the correlation of serum growth differentiation factor 15(GDF-15)and salusin-β with disease activity and prognosis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods A study was conducted on 86 pa-tients with SLE who underwent treatment in our hospital from July 2020 to July 2022,according to the Systemic Lupus Erythemato-sus Disease Activity Index(SLEDAI)score,they were separated into a mild activity group(n=49)and a moderate to severe ac-tivity group(n=37),another 45 healthy subjects with physical examination were selected as healthy group,general information of the object was collected.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was applied to detect serum GDF-15,salisin,and humoral immune indicators IgA and IgM of study subjects in three groups.F 2 test and F or t-test were applied to compare general data,and serum GDF-15,salusin-β,IgA,and IgM.The correlation between GDF-15,salisin serum,and disease activity was analyzed using the R language cor function.According to the prognosis,patients were separated into a good prognosis group(63 cases)and a poor prognosis group(23 cases),receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was further applied to analyze the diagnostic value of GDF-15 and salusin-β serum for the prognosis of patients with SLE.Results Serum GDF-15,salusin-β,IgA and IgM in the mild activity and moderate to severe activity groups were significantly higher in patients than in healthy groupe(all P<0.05).Serum GDF-15,salisin,IgA,and IgM with SLE in moderate to severe activity group were obviously higher than those in mild activity group(P<0.05).There was a obvious positive correlation between GDF-15,salisin,and SLEDAI score(all P<0.05).ROC curve a-nalysis showed that the area under the ROC curve and Youden index of serum GDF-15 and salisin in prognostic diagnosis of SLE patients were lower than those of their combined diagnosis,and the combined detection was more effective.Conclusion Serum GDF-15 and salusin-β in patients with SLE are closely related to their disease activity and prognosis,the combination could serve as an important prognostic indicator for diagnosing SLE patients.关键词
