Abstract
To assess the effects of non-invasive physical enhancement techniques on the transdermal permeation efficiency of skincare products,a comparative study was conducted on the permeation-enhancing performance of microcurrent,red light,and ultrasound using Sprague-Dawley rats as the experimental model.Multidimensional evaluation—including analysis of local transdermal permeation regions,penetration depth,diffusion area,and absorption quantity—demonstrated distinct enhancement mechanisms among the three modalities.Microcurrent exhibited selective facilitation of active ingredient penetration,while red light induced only a slight increase through follicular bypass pathways,both showing limited overall efficacy.In contrast,ultrasound significantly disrupted the stratum corneum structure through cavitation effects,expanding the local transport area to approximately eight times that of the control group.It markedly outperformed the other techniques in both penetration depth and diffusion range.The findings confirm that ultrasound effectively overcomes the epidermal barrier,achieving at least twice the permeation efficiency for macromolecular components compared with microcurrent and red-light treatments.关键词
