Abstract

Degradable packaging films of poly(butylene succinate)/poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)/chain extender(PBS/PBAT/ADR)added with chain extender contents were prepared,and the effects of ADR content on the crystalline structure and properties of the blended films were investigated.The results showed that the introduction of ADR did not change the crystalline structures of PBS and PBAT,but affected the crystallization behavior of the blended films.As the ADR content increased,the crystallinity of the blended films first increased and then decreased,reaching the maximum at 0.8%.The blended film with 0.8%ADR exhibited significantly enhanced surface polarity and hydrophilicity,corresponding to the smallest water contact angle and the highest surface energy.When the ADR content was excessive,the surface polarity of the blended film decreased,while it achieved the lowest oxygen transmission coefficient and the best barrier performance.The mechanical properties of the blended films first decreased and then increased with the increase of ADR content.The blended film with 0.8%ADR effectively delayed fruit decay,indicating its good application potential in the field of degradable packaging.
