摘要

Abstract

A polyamide/ultra high molecular weight polyethylene(PA66/UHMWPE)alloy was prepared,and the influence of UHMWPE molecular weight on its properties was investigated.The results show that increasing the molecular weight of UHMWPE does not enhance the wear resistance of the PA66/UHMWPE alloy.The best wear performance is achieved when the viscosity-average molecular weight of UHMWPE is 2 million.As the UHMWPE molecular weight increases,the MFR of the PA66/UHMWPE alloy decreases and the heat deflection temperature under load rises,but no significant effect on mechanical properties is observed.
