高寒草地土壤水源涵养能力的研究进展
Research Progress on Water Conservation Capacity of Alpine Grassland Soil

Abstract
As vital ecological barriers,alpine grasslands play a pivotal role in maintaining regional water security and e-cological balance through their soil water conservation capacity.This study systematically reviews the concepts and calcu-lation methods of soil water retention in alpine grasslands from ecological and hydrological perspectives,with particular emphasis on key influencing factors including vegetation(grassland degradation and shrub formation),soil characteristics,and climate change.The felt layer emerges as a central component in this process.Meanwhile,climate changes such as rising temperatures,altered precipitation patterns,and variations in snow density and altitude profoundly impact soil mois-ture dynamics in high-altitude regions.Comparative analysis between alpine meadows and alpine steppes reveals that alpine meadows demonstrate superior water retention capacity and physical properties compared to steppes.Finally,the study emphasizes the need for sustained field observations,hydrological modeling development,and in-depth soil crust ex-periments to provide scientific guidance for ecosystem conservation and sustainable water resource management in alpine grassland ecosystems.关键词
