Research on Pulse Characteristic Parameters of Qi and Blood Deficiency Syndrome in Yin-Yang Poison and Chest Obstruction from the Perspective of Heterogeneous Diseases with the Same Syndrome

Abstract
Objective Both Yin-Yang Poisoning and Chest Pain are closely related to the"pulse,"and pulse diagnosis is a key component of syndrome differentiation and treatment as well as the four diagnostic methods in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).Therefore,this study aims to explore the differences in objective pulse parameters between the same syn-drome type of Qi and Blood Deficiency in Yin-Yang Poisoning and Chest Pain from the perspective of the TCM theory of"different diseases with the same syndrome."The objective is to use objective data to investigate the pulse characteristics and differences in Qi and Blood Deficiency syndromes of Yin-Yang Poisoning and Chest Pain and to explore the theory of"different diseases with the same syndrome"through pulse characteristic parameters.Methods The SmartTCM-A1 Intelli-gent TCM Four Diagnostic Detection System was used to collect pulse information from 25 patients with Yin-Yang Poisoning due to Qi and Blood Deficiency and 25 patients with Chest Pain due to Qi and Blood Deficiency in Hainan.IBM SPSS Sta-tistics 26.0 software was employed to perform descriptive statistics and difference analysis on the time-domain parameters of the pulse waveform,including the main wave amplitude(h1),pre-dicrotic wave amplitude(h3),dicrotic notch amplitude(h4),dicrotic wave amplitude(h5),and the time value from the starting point of the pulse waveform to the peak of the main wave(t1)for both patient groups.Additionally,two physicians assessed the patients'pulse conditions,and the pulse patterns were recorded.Results The pulse patterns of patients with Chest Pain due to Qi and Blood Deficiency included De-ficient Pulse,Thin Pulse,and Intermittent Pulse.The pulse patterns of patients with Yin-Yang Poisoning due to Qi and Blood Deficiency included Deficient Pulse,Thin Pulse,and Faint Pulse.Patients with Chest Pain due to Qi and Blood De-ficiency had higher h1,h3,and t1 values than those with Yin-Yang Poisoning due to Qi and Blood Deficiency,while pa-tients with Yin-Yang Poisoning had higher h4 and h5 values.Among these,t1 showed a statistical difference between the two patient groups(P<0.05).Conclusion There are differences in pulse characteristic parameters between patients with Yin-Yang Poisoning due to Qi and Blood Deficiency and those with Chest Pain due to Qi and Blood Deficiency.When ap-plying the theory of"different diseases with the same syndrome,"both the disease and the syndrome should bconsidered.关键词
