Mineralogical Geochemical Characteristics and Geological Significance of Basic—ultrabasic Rocks in Zhangji Area in Jiangsu Province

Abstract
Through analysis and study on rock and mineral identification,characteristics of diamond indica-tor minerals and major elements,trace elements,and rare earth elements of basic—ultrabasic rocks in Zhangji area in Jiangsu province,iIt isindicated that the porphyries in this area originate from magmatic en-vironments in the mantle or even deeper regions,and are located in a slow source area that has undergone metasomatism enrichment and can form diamond depths.During the evolution of porphyry magma,it has undergone a certain degree of crustal contamination and fractional crystallization.In the environment of rapid tension within the plate,as the host rock,porphyry magma intrudes diamonds along the weak struc-tural zone into the shallow crust to form hidden explosions.The rocks that produce diamonds in Zhangji area are basic—ultrabasic porphyry rocks.It has which have further diamond exploration prospects.关键词
