摘要

Abstract

Using the coefficient of restitution to solve collision problems has more advantages than the conventional method of using the law of conservation of energy:the results of linear equations are unique,the calculations are more convenient,and the scope of application is broader,compensating for the limitation of the law of conservation of energy,which can only solve problems of perfectly elastic collisions.It can solve various collision problems,including di-rect and oblique collisions between particles and particles,particles and rigid bodies,and rigid bodies and rigid bodies.Moreover,the coefficient of restitution can also be used to quickly judge the ration-ality of collision problems and correct unreasonable propositions.It is hoped that the use of the coeffi-cient of restitution will deepen students'understanding of the collision process and also serve as a ref-erence for teachers in creating reasonable problem propositions.
