摘要

Abstract

To investigate the role of 26-hydroxylase(NhCYP18A1)in the molting and reproduction of Neocaridina davidi(shrimp),the full-length of NhCY P18A 1gene was cloned,and the expression levels of NhCY P18A 1at various developmental stages of shrimp individuals and during different gonadal developmental stage were assessed by qPCR.The molting rate of the shrimps and the gonadal index of the female shrimps were calculated,and the gonads of the shrimps were observed by longitudinal paraffin sections.The results demonstrated that:①The expression level of NhCYP18A 1was significantly higher in gonadally mature fe male shrimp compared to gonadal mature male shrimp;② During the gonadal development of female shrimp,the expression level of NhCY P18A 1 was significantly elevated in the middle and late stages compared to the early stages of gonadal development;③After successfully knocking down NhCY P18A 1,the cumulative molting rate of shrimp in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group within 15 d,whereas the maturity and gonadal index of shrimp in the experimental group were notably lower than those in the control group.Based on these results,NhCY P18A 1 is involved in the processes of molting and gonadal development,primarily inhibiting molting and promoting go-nadal maturation in female shrimps.
