Spatial equity evaluation of urban park green space in Tianjin based on an improved multi-mode two-step floating catchment area method

Abstract
To identify the weak areas of urban park green space distribution,the accessibility of park green space was measured taking the central urban area of Tianjin City as the study area using an improved two-step floating catchment area method with multiple traffic modes.Based on these measurements,the spatial equity of park green spaces in the central urban area of Tianjin City was studied across three scales including administrative districts,streets and residential areas.The results show that:①The spatial allocation of park green space resources in the central urban area of Tianjin City is relatively reasonable with Gini coefficient of 0.34,but there are still unfair spatial distribution phenomena to varying degrees.②From the perspective of administrative regions,there are significant differences in the equity distribution of park green spaces in the study area.Heping district and Hongqiao district have the best spatial quality of park green spaces,while the allocation of park green space resources in other administrative districts needs further improvement.③From the perspective of streets,the spatial equity of park green spaces is good in the study area,with 75%of the streets showing highly balanced spatial distribution of park green spaces and 21%of the streets exhibiting relatively balanced distribution.④ From the perspective of residential areas,there are significant differences in the equity distribution of park green spaces in the central urban area of Tianjin city.There are serious unfair phenomena in the distribution of park green space which are caused by two situations of inadequate supply and oversupply.关键词
