澳大利亚坚持推进"奥库斯"和"拥核"的内生动因及我应对之策
The Endogenous Factors in Australia's Pursuit of AUKUS and Nuclear Submarines

Abstract
The Australian Labor Party carries on the Coalition-launched AUKUS and nuclear-powered submarine project,suggesting cross-party consensus on the intensification and nuclearization of the Australia-US alliance.Australia is no longer contented with the traditional role of a follower in the alliance,in view of the global geo-political transition,but a more robust role in agenda-setting and nuclear-deterrence.Endogenous factors contribute primarily to the intensification and nuclearization of the alliance,and the role of a"pawn"in the Indo-Pacific region given the truism that the US-dominated system and order literally serves their vested interest and regional hegemony.The AUKUS is set to reverse the local momentum of win-win cooperation whereas fueling security competition between military blocs.To combat these disadvantages,China should enhance strategic cooperation particularly with the ASEAN and the Pacific Islands Forum(PIF)to uphold their centrality and dominance,and contain the division and confrontation launched by the US-dominated mini-lateral alliances.China should back the appeal of ASEAN and PIF for a nuclear-free zone and their concerns over climate change and other non-traditional security.As well,China should increase economic cooperation and trade with the ASEAN and PIF to expand her presence and influence,contain the division and confrontation fueled by the U.S.and Australia,and erode their economic strength.关键词
