Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of integrated care strategies among elderly patients with dementia in the neurolo-gy department.Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with dementia admitted to the neurology department were randomly assigned to the control group and experimental group,with 50 cases in each group.The control received routine care,and the experimental group received in-tegrated care strategies including cognitive training,optimized daily care,psychological support,and safety precautions.Cognitive function(MMSE),daily living ability(BI),depression(HAMD),quality of life(QOL-AD),and adverse event rates were assessed before and after the intervention.Results After the intervention,the experimental group showed significantly higher MMSE,BI,and QOL-AD scores,along with significantly lower HAMD scores and incidence of adverse events,compared to the control group(all P＜0.05).Conclusion Integrated care strategies can significantly improve MMSE,BI,HAMD,and QOL-AD,while reducing adverse events in elderly patients with dementia,thereby demonstrating substantial clinical application value.关键词
