Self-interference channel estimation for OFDM-based full-duplex analog arrays
摘要
Abstract
To address the reliance of existing full-duplex analog array systems on dedicated time slots and external equip-ment for self-interference channel state information acquisition,a reference signal-assisted self-interferencechannel esti-mation method was proposed.Specific beamforming matrices were designed to enable the estimation of the self-interference channel concurrently with normal data transmission,thereby eliminating the need for additional measure-ment devices or centralized measurement intervals.The impact of transmit and receive signal-to-noise ratios on the nor-malized mean square error of channel estimation was theoretically analyzed,clarifying the trade-off between transmit power,receive gain,and estimation accuracy.Hardware-in-the-loop simulations demonstrate that the method achieves ex-cellent performance in small-scale array systems,while in large-scale arrays,estimation error can be effectively miti-gated by increasing the transmit Signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).The findings indicate that channel estimation error is more sensitive to transmit SNR,and increasing transmit SNR represents an effective approach to error reduction,though this comes at the cost of a trade-off with normalized mean squared error(NMSE)performance.关键词
