New Quality Productivity Empowering Common Prosperity of Farmers and Rural Areas:Theoretical Analysis and Empirical Test

Abstract
Based on the data of 30 provinces in China from 2015 to 2024,this paper empirically investigates the enabling ef-fect and internal mechanism of new quality productivity on common prosperity of farmers and rural areas.The results show that the new quality productivity has a significant positive driving effect on common prosperity of farmers and rural areas.The results of multiple robustness tests further confirm that this conclusion has credibility and robustness.The threshold effect test results show that the effect of new quality productivity on common prosperity of farmers and rural areas has a nonlinear characteristic of first in-hibition and then promotion.Heterogeneity test results show that the impact of new quality productivity on common prosperity of farmers and rural areas is more significant in areas with developed digital economy.The mediating effect test results show that the new quality productivity can indirectly empower common prosperity of farmers and rural areas by promoting scientific and techno-logical innovation.关键词
