摘要
Abstract
As a highly concentrated area of economy, culture and science and technology in Xinjiang, the urban agglomeration of the northern slope of Tianshan Mountains faces significant challenges in atmospheric pollution control amidst rapid development. The 14th Five-Year Plan period(2021-2025)marks a critical phase for achieving substantial air quality improvements through systematic pollution governance.Based on the air quality monitoringdata(2020-2024)from key areas such as the"Urumqi-Changji-Shihezi"and"Kuytun-Dushanzi-Urumqi"regions,combined withan analysis of air pollution control policies and practices, this study systematically evaluates air quality trends, governance efficacy, existing challenges, and sustainable improvement strategies.Findings indicate that comprehensive measures, including regional joint prevention/control mechanisms,in-depth industrial emission reduction, and clean coal substitution programs, have increased the annual proportion of days with good air quality and reduced concentrations of atmospheric pollutantssince 2020.However,structural challenges persist, such as heavy reliance on energy-intensive industries and elevated winter pollution levels. These strategies aim to synergize air quality improvement with green economic transition in northwest China's arid climate context.关键词
