摘要
Abstract
To assess the impact of fireworks and firecracker discharge on air quality in Hengyang City, this study analyzed the changes in PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations and the composition of inorganic elements based on the data from six national-controlled environmental air automatic monitoring stations and the postal building sub-station during the Spring Festival of 2025.The results show that the concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 increase significantly, during the concentrated fireworks display period(from 18:00 on Chines New Year's Eve to 11:00 on the second day of the Chines New Year). The average daily concentration of PM2.5 on the first festival day reached 171 μg/m3,and the contribution rate of fireworks display was 74.9%,an increase of 128 μg/m3 compared with the non-fireworks display period. The characteristic elements K,S and Cl increased simultaneously, accounting for 42.6%,26.7%and 21.7%respectively,which was consistent with the peak height of PM2.5.It is estimated that the fireworks display during the Spring Festival contributed 0.53 μg/m3 and 0.71 μg/m3 respectively to the average concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 throughout the year.Compared with the same period in 2024,the intensity of fireworks displays decreased and the pollution peak was delayed, indicating that the ban on fireworks in urban areas has achieved initial results. However, fireworks displays in surrounding areas still have a certain impact on regional air quality.关键词
