Uranium Mineralization Conditions and Prospecting Potential of Shangganchaigou Formation in Xiandong Area of Northern Margin of Qaidam Basin
摘要
Abstract
To further clarify the prospecting potential of uranium mineralization in Shangganchaigou Formation in the northern margin of Qaidam Basin, this paper systematically analyzed the uranium source conditions, structural characteristics, target layer characteristics, hydrogeological conditions, and uranium mineralization characteristics in Xiandong area of the northern margin of Qaidam Basin.Combined with regional geological conditions, the article discussed the uranium mineralization conditions and stages of Shangganchaigou Formation in Xiandong area. The research suggests that Xiandong region is rich in uranium sources and has developed monocline structures;Shangganchaigou Formation which is the target layer for mineral exploration has developed a braided river delta sedimentary system and recharge-runoff-discharge groundwater system, interlayer oxidation zones and reduced substances such as carbon debris are well developed in the sand bodies.Uranium mineralization is significantly controlled by interlayer oxidation, and the mineralization intensity is positively correlated with Stotal,TOC,V,Mo,Re,Se,and other factors.Uranium mineralization has experienced three stages:sedimentary pre-enrichment,interlayer oxidation mineralization, and continuous mineralization caused by uplift.Comprehensive analysis suggests that Shangganchaigou Formation in Xiandong area has good potential for sandstone type uranium mineralization, with the main type being interlayer oxidation zone type.关键词
