Abstract

Paleo-hydrodynamic condition is one of the main factors controlling the metallization of sandstone type uranium deposits,the restoration of the ancient basin's hydrodynamic conditions,especially during the mineralization period are very important in studying the metallogenic pattern and guiding the exploration and deployment of sandstone type uranium deposits.In this article,drilling,seismic and other data were used to reconstruct the ancient hydrodynamic conditions by restoring the geological distribution,topographic distribution,lithological distribution and other characteristics of the strata after eroding the strata formed after the last uranium mineralization pahse.The distribution conditions of strata,topography,and lithology in the last uranium mineralization phase(21 Ma)in Tongliao area of Songliao Basin was restored,and the ancient hydrodynamic conditions were analyzed.The construction of a structural skylight provided favorable hydrodynamic conditions for the formation of uranium deposits,and Qianjiadian uranium deposit was found mainly spreads around the edge of Baixingtu structural skylight.Based on this recognition,three structural skylights with similar uranium mineralization were inferred as the potential favorable areas.The reconstruction method of paleo-hydrodynamic condition in the last uranium metallogenic phase was proposed based on drilling data of high reliability and easy operation.The method can analyze the recharge,runoff,and discharge conditions of groundwater during the mineralization period,providing support for the study of uranium mineralization mechanisms and exploration deployment.
